Athletic Background
I grew up playing all kinds of sports from soccer, baseball, basketball, golf, and even lacrosse. My favorite sport was and still is soccer. I trained really hard to make the varsity team with consisted of running and drills. 
First Run
The first time I ran was with my soccer teammates. We all met up in downtown Berlin to crush out a short run around the town. The objective was to start getting in shape for the upcoming soccer season. I am not going to lie my teammates were in terrible shape so I dusted them. Eventually, I decided the running track was going to be the best way for me to get faster for soccer. 
Today
I am on a partial scholarship to run at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown for cross country and track. I focus on the 200 and 800, but my best event is the 400 meters. I enjoy running racing the 4x400 with my teammates Matt, Luca, and Kenny. We currently hold in the UPJ track indoor 4x400 record and hopefully break the outdoor one as well. 
At the end of my track career, I want to start running 5K's and 10K's. My end goal is to eventually run a marathon somewhere near my home and qualify for the Boston Marathon in my late 20's.

Tip: When I first started running I thought stretching was overrated until I experienced my first injury. Now I go through a 10-minute stretching drill before our group runs.
