Athletic Background
I always ran to get in shape for soccer and baseball. People always told me I was pretty quick so I thought I should try out for the track. I had always watched my dad run and knew he was a distance runner in high school.
The first run that I can recall was at track practice during my freshman year in high school. I started as a distance runner but eventually moved down to sprinting and jumps. I figure I'll save the distance stuff for after I graduate.
First Run
Today
Unlike most others here, I am a sprinter who focuses in the 100, 200 and 400 meters. I started as a long jumper in high school but was recruited for sprinting so I officially made the switch in 2015.
Future
I plan on competing at the 2020 Toyko Olympics in the 200 meters. Just kidding, in reality, I would like to run for whatever graduate school I go to. I see myself potentially doing some 5K's post-graduation.

Tip: In Sprinting its crucial to focus on form and work on technique. My go-to Youtube Video is linked here.
